Try Georgetown, Georgia, Leesburg, Georgia. All are cheap to live in. Blakely, GA. Thomasville, GA.

Pine Mountain or Hamilton near Columbus are nice small towns. Not far from Columbus and Atlanta.

Think about the LaFayette GA area. It is about 20-30 minutes of Chattanooga TN, so if you want to live in "small town" GA but be close to the amenities of the big city, it would be a good choice. Beautiful beautiful natural scenery! There are several small towns in that general area. Good luck in whatever you decide!
