Just wondering. Any Liberal coastal/water towns in Georgia, or is EVERYTHING pretty much conservative outside of Atlanta? If so where?

No its not! Chatham county within the city of Savannah isn't extremely liberal, but it sure isn't the most conservative! I'd probably say moderately liberal.
Chatham itself went blue for the election. Bryan and Effingham counties are a different story (suburbs)

Come on down! We'll greet you with great southern hospitality and the open-mindedness of Atlanta.

It's not California or 'Up East' liberal, but there are plenty of people on the coast that are at least moderate in their views, particularly in Savannah and Brunswick/St Simons.

I have a friend at UGA who is the definition of hippie and lives in Savannah. Unfortunately, she had 6 different Obama signs stolen from her front yard down there

Yet Chatham county was blue... thank goodness. I'm one of them (blue/Obama supporter)

LOL Don't worry. I only want a vacation beach home. I'm pretty cool and to myself. I just don't want to be asked every three people "what church do I go to & I want to know that my Obama/Biden 2012 sign won't be stolen six times from my yard...or sand, whatever I find.

I think you'll be fine.

If someone bothers you, just tell them to **** off. If they're that annoying, its not like you'd end up being friends anyway.
