Okay so basically, Chula is just a small little place about 15 or 20 minutes from Tifton. There are really no jobs actually In Chula; they're all in Tifton. The job outlook here is about as grim as it is everywhere, but if you live in Chula your children will be sent to Tift County schools, which are the best schools in the area. There is also a private school (Tiftarea Academy) located in Chula if you would prefer to go that route. There aren't very many real neighborhoods here either. There are a few small little clumps of houses together but mostly it's just farms, a house here and there, and churches and dirt roads. The only defining things about Chula are the post office, the railroad tracks that run all throughout it, and the fire department, which are all literally within a five minute walk of each other. I get high speed DSL if internet is a concern. Overall, it's a very quiet place to live if you don't mind rednecks.

thankyou so much for your response, that sounds like what we are looking for, we would love a lot of property with ammenities not too far away... Right now we are on 5 acres in southern coastal NJ, in an agricultural area but close to a mall, a college, atlantic city and the beach, but it is so overpriced and over regulated we can't take it anymore. Our property taxes are 4200/yr.
