I've just finished this entire thread and I need help trying to put this into "real, everyday-life" perspective so I can understand it a little better...

So, what would happen if I go on vacation and let's say I am gone from home for a few weeks. The beach is beautiful, water is warm, accomodations are fantastic and I am just having a grand 'ol time.

The end of vacation grows closer and having to go home and return to reality is in sight. We have really enjoyed our vacation that we have worked so hard for.

As we return to our home, that is nearly paid for with our hard earned money, we find a strange car parked in our drive-way and hear children playing in our backyard, on our swing-set and in our pool. There is now a clothes line stretched across our side-yard, some clothes look familiar and some don't. Oddly enough, there is also a strange dog tied to my tree and the poor thing looks like he hasn't been eating well.

As we approach our front door, we notice a pile of shoes and none of them belong to us. My American Flag has been removed from my flag pole, you know, that's the same flag pole that I had to get a permit for and it now flies much different colors than it did when we left.

For some strange reason, I felt the need to knock on the door of my own home. Over the clanging of pots and pans and a blaring TV, I can hear someone coming to the door but I can't quite make out what they are saying.

As the door opens, we are greeted by several young children none of whom can speak a lick of English. Mom and dad are in the background and holding each other looking at us as if they had seen a ghost.

Dad is holding my remote and mom is wearing my wife's apron. Two of the children seem to be fighting over my sons skateboard and the other is proudly wearing my daughters $50 Abercrombie tank-top. One little boy is thumbing thru my sons school book and there is an emtpy bottle of my daughter's perscription cough syrup sitting on the table.

As we are welcomed into our own home, by strangers who have obviously taken over everything we have worked so hard for, we don't know weather to call the police or to just walk away. I mean, they do seem like really nice folks....

Has anyone from the community bothered to call ICE and report the chicken plants? Maybe if they got enough calls they would do something.

Thank you Katsmeeyow. I'm just shoked at the hypocricy of many folks. They are willing to turn a blind eye to an illegal intruder into their home Country but would immediately call the police if it happened in their personal home. I ask all of you, truthfully, what's the difference?

Can't argue with much of that. They really brought down a few areas north of Atlanta. I never really had a problem with them leaving Mexico to come here. I just didn't like the fact that they brought Mexico with them.

I'm sure that's how the natives felt as white people started spreading throughout the land. After all, you guys brought Europe with you.

lmao@"the other ones"

lol@The racist tone by the likes of people like Georgiaboy7. Hey, I agree, illegals and law breakers of any race should be punished. There are no excuses for that. I'm a young adult african-american, and I have no excuses for young black and mexican criminals. If you break the law, then you should suffer the consequences. I also believe you should work for what you want. I was taught to work for what I want and the older males in my family didnt believe in the gov'n or anybody else taking care of their family and themselves.

But.....here is where the racism comes in. Yeah, there are a higher % of blacks and mexicans on welfare and committing violent crimes, therefore more cause for concern in those 2 communities, but the fact of the matter is there are still MORE white people on welfare in total numbers.

So, you have a problem with all the minorities on welfare and breaking the law, but no problem with the whites who do it as well, even though they represent an even HIGHER amount in total???

Sounds racist to me.

Let me give you an example. If there are 6000 white people and 2000 mexicans in a city and 2000 of the whites are on welfare as opposed to 1000 of mexicans.....yes...I agree there should be MORE concern for the mexican community.......but why would it be that you ONLY have a problem with those 1000 mexicans abusing the system...and not those 2000 whites doing the same???

I'm not on welfare and I'm not a criminal. My intermediate family and myself all work and contribute to society and have college degrees (or currently in school working on it ...*me*)...........but I do know and see plenty of white people in Jones County "leeching" off the system? Are you telling me I need to go back to Africa (a place I've never been to in my life, so I dont know how I can go back to where I have not been anyway) even though I am being a positive member of society and that you have no problem with the "leeching" type of whites I just described....all because of the color of my skin? lol Yeah ok.

It's one thing to want something done about illegals, law breakers and welfare leeches but it's another thing to use those things to promote racism.
