We went to FL a few years ago and we stopped right before we crossed into FL in a very small town in GA, and I cannot remember the name of this town, it is not on any map I have looked at, I doubted it would be because of its size though. It looked JUST like Mayberry! the main road was gravel and there was little shops set up for about a 2 block length, complete with a little barber shop, general store, etc. and that was the extent of this town! We were driving on I-75 south, and it was right off the expressway, so if anyone can think of the town I am describing please reply.I am about 95% sure it was in GA but it could have been just over the FL state line, but I dont think it was.Thanks.

i don't think it was lake park.

there is a massive outlet mall, several restaurants, various businesses, etc. . in lake park.

i think you were in jennings, fl. its on hwy 41 just off the interstate.

its possible you were in jasper, fl, but jennings is closer to your description, and jasper is a little further off the interstate.
