Oh Genuis, If you read carefully instead of being so quick bash everything that is said it was MSA was Never mentioned. It said Macon served as a Economic hub meaning "trade center" to 22 counties in MGA "nothing about Greenville MSA in comparison to Macon's".... so what are you trying to say?

Look kid, you may think that all of us have it in for Macon - but why do you think that is? It is a reaction to you - not where you live.

I actually LOVE this State, and I want all of our cities to do well.

You love where you live, and are proud of it. I think that is fantastic.

BUT - proping up your area with half-truths, lies and wishful thinking doesn't mesh with reality.

Get a clue. Macon is struggling, moreso than other comparable areas. I would think that the only other metro in the State doing worse is Albany.

First of all i'm not a Kid, I do not Have to prop up anything to prove a point or try to change yours and anyone elses opinions about Macon. I honestly don't care what you think..... None of the info I have provided you with was wishful thinking , i even gave to the links to the developers web sites. you can also go to Georgia trend Mag websites and also read about the boom in growth in Macon from north to south to DT...... If you paid any any to new growth stat Macon was ahead of all the 2nd tier citeis in growth.....

1. Metro Atlanta (up 23.70%)
2. Metro Athens (up 12.87%)
3. Metro Dalton (up 11.67%)
4. Metro Savannah (Up 9.93%)
5. Metro Brunswick (Up 9.40%)
6. Metro Valdosta (Up 8.87%)
7. Metro Macon (Up 8.33%)
8. Metro Augusta (Up 5.78%)
9. Metro Albany (up 3.94%)
10. Metro Columbus/Auburn-Opelika (Up 3.48%)

Well according to the chart Macon metro comes in at 7th for growth.. so I guess it is doing better than the other Fall Line cities.. but that hardly makes it the fastest growing metro in georgia outside Atlanta.. that would be Athens, then Dalton and Savannah.

Growth that very likely stopped last year hardly has anything to do with how healthy your overall economy is doing.

It is common knowledge throughout the State that Macon, and in particular Albany - are not doing well at all right now.

Hey Genuis come back to EARTH, common knowledge should tell everyone thats the same throughout the entire US including booming cities like Atlanta, Las Vegas, Miami and etc. But what counts is what the US cenus records NOT common knowledge.
