This seems like a nice town, positioned perfectly between Atlanta, Macon & Columbus. What can y'all tell me about this place? Who are the big employers in the area...and where are the good places to eat?

Thomaston doesn't really have a lot of big employers most of the jobs in are Mills and Warehouses which are all mostly have closed.... There is chili's restaurant in Thomaston, but the other choices are mostly you reg. Mikey D', burger King and Etc. The town of Griffin is about 20-30min away up US HWY 19 which has better shopping, dining and etc.
