Hi there Im new so bear with me. Im going to be moving to savannah am married and have new baby need to know what areas to avoid and which are nicer family places. will be stationed at hunter air base. any info is greatly appreciated.

My husband is at Hunter right now. We chose to live further North out in the Pooler area. As New Moon stated, those are threads about the Savannah area and the crime. There are good places closer to Savannah. But we chose to be further away from all the traffic and such. It takes my husband on average 25 minutes to get to work (not alot of traffic in the early morning) and about 30 minutes to an hour (or more if there's an accident). Feel free to ask more questions. I'll be happy to give you any information I can as well as personal opinions.
