Sorry no one has replied til now. This is a very busy forum and little towns like Covington can get lost with not to many people knowing much about it. I too am just like that. I really have no opinion on this town having only gone to a couple of my nephew's baseball games there and of course eaten out or shopped there. Some of Covington looks real nice in the newer areas but the mojority of the architecture there I find to be very drab and boring like most everything built in the 70's and 80's.

While at the games though I only seemed to run into nice people and didn't really hear any complaints about the school system. If you could tell a little more about what you are looking for in a community I would be more than happy to suggest some I'm more familiar with.

If nothing else my reply puts you back at the top of the list and maybe someone with more info will come to your aid.

Best of wishes for your family.

Default moving to covington

Im planning on purchasing a home on fairview where rockdale county
end and newton begins. The school zoned there is fairview elementary
and doesn't seem that good. That's why Im questioning the area. the houses
around the area looks well kept and has a lot of greenery it's preety
but looks can be decieving. I like a nice quite surburban area . Im interested
in the legacy home builders.
