Currently I am in Bristol, Tn where I moved to from Jax, Fl. 2 years ago. I now have a family and maybe planning a move again in a couple of years, all depending if my online business does decent. We kind of narrowed down to Georgia but we are not sure where. Originally we were looking at Savannah but after reading through this site...not sure about that now.
Some things we are basing on are:
1. Must be along the 75 or 95 Pipelines for travel reasons.
2. Not Atlanta (I have had enuff of big cities with Jax)
3. Moderate to small size with things to do (not a completly boring place)
4. A Church must not run the city (Again...enuff of that from Jax)
5. Availability of jobs if the Business ever fails or slacks, to be able to keep us going.
6. Realistically for us, Rental Housing (Apartments or whatever) that accept a small dog. (Funny, you would think Tenn. would allow more but it was hard to find a place to accept my Min Pin.)
7. At least a walmart or target for shopping near by.
Ok..just trying to get specific on what would make us sort of happy with an area.
Any places like this? Or am I dreaming?
