I'm looking into Colleges and Berry College has really caught my eye! I just have a few questions for anyone who is going there, knows someone there, or has graduated from the school! I heard it's a beautiful campus.
I was wondering what the schools overall reputation is, do students enjoy it?
It seems to be a religious school, and I am not a very religious person. Will that make me uncomfortable there?
How is the town of Rome?
How is the nursing program there?
Also on college board I noticed that only 70% of applicants are accepted and only 78% return for their sophomore year? Is a very difficult school to be in and get into!?
Thank you so much!

I have been to Berry College and it is absolutely beautiful! It is the largest campus in the world. I suggest posting your questions on their Facebook page //www.facebook.com/berrycollege, but to really get a feel for the college and campus for yourself, you should schedule a visit to campus through their admissions department. You can do that athttp://www.berry.edu/admissions. I hope this helps

Thanks for your questions about Berry College. As the Director of Admissions, I would love the chance to share the wonderful experiences available here at Berry. In response to your questions, Berry is a national liberal arts college where we promote a the value of a residential community. While we are Christian in our orientation, we have students who come from many faith backgrounds and even students who enroll who do not active participate in faith activities. I believe strongly that we respect students around questions of their involvements and I do not feel that a student who did see faith as a big part of their life would be uncomfortable at Berry. As to Rome, I think Rome is a great community with culture, arts, good restaurants and strong civic engagement. Rome is a good place to live. On our admission standards, we are selective in our admission process focusing on whether we feel that your combination of GPA and test scores and the other supporting parts of the application indicates that you would academically successful at Berry College. I very much would welcome your application to Berry and to talk in more depth about our very well regarding nursing program that works in conjuction with Emory University. You can reach the Admissions Office at (800) BERRYGA. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
