BobKovacs maybe you should abuse your body for 25 years and have nothing to show for it. (Stress, physical deterioration, and PTSD). Be shot and killed in the line of duty, only to be forgotten about.

Look at a victim of child molestation and try not to think about it when you put your own child to bed.

Oh and make the same salary as a high school student working part time bagging groceries. ..

Georgia Law Enforcement need a Law Enforcement Bill of Rights or a collective bargaining agreement to protect them from people like yourself who display the same type of narrow mindedness.

Law Enforcement Officers are career professionals who would jeopardize their life to save yours. .. How about treating them respectfully and pay them fairly. .

most labor unions(ibew, ua, iuec, and other large unions that actually get work in Georgia have a no strike/protesting clause unlike the smaller unions they can protest all day and a contractor or employer will just go get somebody else with no push from that particular unions because they don't have no real mouth in office to speak up

I am trying to find information regarding attempt for a Georgia Quad Graphics plant to initiate a Union and being threatened to shut down. I resigned from a Wisconsin Quad plant as an employee advocate who exercised my rights and I am currently in Equal Rights dispute for retaliatory practices. I have rejected the settlement offered. After working 90 hours in 8 days my supervisor was going to force me to take another crew's twelve hour shift after 2 days off. That prompted my resignation. They force people to work multiple 12 hour shifts sometimes more than ten in a row 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am (rotating every four months). An overtime sheet is passed around and employees are literally forced to sign up all over time slots are filled. It is conveyed as voluntary so as not to violate "One day of rest in a seven calendar day work week." The employees are all so fearful of retaliation that they are allowing theirs rights to be violated.

There are no teacher unions in Georgia because collective bargaining for educators is not permitted under Georgia state law.

… Which appears to be one very significant change in working conditions that you would have to take into account in contemplating a move from Maryland to Georgia.

Fire and police have unions but their powers are curtailed as well. I believe, one or the other can collective bargain but thats it.
