Ellijay Canton are probably the most beautiful areas along with Gainesville.

I lived in Chatsworth for 6yrs. It was a beautiful small town at that time. Now it has turned into dirty very commericalized area. Ellijay and Canton still have
many of the small town qualites. Mountains valleys winding country roads.
Both are within an hrs time of Atlanta for the big city shopping. Once your're
back in to Gilmer and Cheerokee counties you are home. There is such a peaceful relaxing feeling that engulfs you. All the stress from the big city has washed away.

I am moving back to Ga between Canton and Ellijay I may settle in Jasper since in is between the two places that I love best.

I'm happy to see that my new hometown of Canton (effective July 29th) made the list. While I haven't explored it as much as you likely have, I do find the area to be very nice.
