Can anyone recommend a good area to look for a mountain view cabin in the N Georgia area?
Has anyone been to any of the gem mines and what has your experience been?

Thank you.

Blue Ridge Georgia is a great place to find cabin rentals, there are many nice ones to choose from depending on your budget.Just type in your search, Blue Ridge Georgia cabin rentals. Most of the sites you visit will give you photo's of the cabins as well as the view they offer.

I have rented from Kaylor cabins in Blue Ridge, but there are many to choose from.I chose to stick with this company because I have never had any major problems with them.

As far as gem mines,I have never been to any.Just do a google search for gem mines in North Georgia mountains.

Good luck

Yeah but if you rent a Cabin in Blue Ridge make sure its a cabin located next to other rental cabins. Some people rent out cabins located right next to full time residents and thats just bull. You can't open up a motel next to a full time working class resident and you shouldn't be able to rent a cabin out like one. Blue Ridge Georgia sucks anymore though and theres no gem mines.

How are you going to find out if a rental is next door to a full time resident? There is no way of knowing unless the rental company gives you that information.Rental companies will not even tell you where the rental property is until you have paid in full.

I guess full time homeowners have no say in what another homeowner can do with their own property.I think I can understand where you're coming from though. What homeowner would like to have to hear a bunch of loud people partying every night for a solid week.

I don't even think you should be allowed to rent a cabin out on a nightly and weekly basis next to a full time working class resident. There should be a ordinance of some kind put in place.
