I am coming to Georgia last week of April? Will trees and flowers be out yet?
In other words will it be green for the most part? Visiting from Maine, what should I bring for clothes? I will be staying outside of Gainesville, Georgia.
Thank you for any advice.....

Some trees are already starting to bloom while most trees are still bare. But everything should be out by then.

Most trees should be in bloom or leaf by then. There are some that do come in a bit later. As for the weather, probably upper 70's - low 80's. Possibly rain and thunderstorms, it is the start of our heavy weather season.

LOL--In my area the jonquils are finishing up. A few years ago around this time I visited someone about 15 miles away and their jonquils were just opening. I've always wondered how this could be possible.

Trees are pink and white, now. In a few more weeks--mid April--Atlanta should be at its best. By the end of April I would expect things to be very green.

I would pack a jacket and a sweater. During the day it could possibly be rather warm--high 70's or low 80's--we never know. In the evening probably in the 50's-60's.

It is windy today and I like that.
