There are always kids driving golf carts in the subdivision where I live, the same streets where there are cars. I've seen it too many times now, these are kids not even age 15, they are like 12,13, 15. You don't need a license to drive a golf cart, duh, but you can drive it same place where traffic exists, even if it's minimal. Somebody told me yesterday that I am not suppose to be jogging outside, this person complained because I was in his way, which is true since there aren't any sidewalks here, I do not know what this fool expects me to do, jog on people's property or something? So if they are complaining about me jogging and nothing has been done to stop children driving golf carts on same streets, then should I call the cops to report them?

Actually, though I may be incorrect, my understanding is that on designated golf cart trails like at a golf course, or in planned communities (such as in Peachtree City), it's ok for kids to drive carts, however, if the cart is on a "real" road where automobiles drive on, you do have to have a tag on it, a licensed driver, and the cart has to meet certain specs as well. Check with your local authorities.

As far as jogging, you should be able to jog wherever you like, however, it's always been advisable that you walk/jog toward traffic and not with it. This way you can see who's coming toward you, try to move out of the way if possible for oncoming traffic, etc. You ride bikes with the flow of traffic - walk/jog against it.

Ok the correction for you are these 2 things--- To drive a motorized vehicle of anykind you have to be atleast 16 with a (State Drivers License) and if you are jogging around your neighbor-hood or somewhere else just remember always jog on the left-side of the road facing the traffic, if there is a bicycle lane you can jog on it, but remember if a cyclist is coming toward you the (Bicyclist has the lane) the jogger has to move out of the way!
