I am moving to East Cobb. We are going to live in the Lassitier school district. Does anyone know of any great subdivisions?
I will be commuting to the Cumberland mall area for work. Am I making a big mistake with my commute living in the Lassitier district vs. Walton district? I will be leaving for work around 7am.

Here's an older thread that might give you FYI on subdivisions>>>

I live across town from this area and have no real FYI to share. I can rather vividly recall several threads in which the merits of the high schools you mentioned were discussed. You could create another thread--such as 'Lassiter v Walton/Pope' and more than likely get detailed response from posters.

Leaving at 7AM should make your commute bearable but then again the only way to be certain is to try a few routes and see for yourself.

I went to Lassiter a while ago, still is a nice area, no real difference in schools, between the two, Walton area is a quite a bit more congested though. Where around Lassiter are you looking? The only problem with that area is there is a lot of money, and within the last 5 years or so its got bad with drugs, in the schools (especially Walton), and Im not talking weed either.
