I think this is worth repeating.

I made my counter proposal- you just don't like it because it doesn't serve your purpose.

You gave a three-line summary. I can't say whether I support your plan before I see more detail of what exactly it proposes.

Sorry- but that's all your going to get. I don't have time to waste trying to convince you that there's any other solution than the one you're already fixed on, which is reducing your taxes while raising taxes on "the rich".

Why are you assuming you know what is going on inside my mind? I'm serious about my offer--let's see a concrete, detailed counterproposal, and then we can debate the merits of each of ours.

Why? Your proposal simply says "tax the high earners more and the low earners less"- it has no merit to me, but obviously does to you since you benefit from it. In my proposal, either your taxes will increase, your services will be reduced, or both- based on your past posts you don't see merit in any of those options, so there's nothing to debate.

Bob, you still seem to be assuming that I'm also operating under an "I don't like it = it's a bad plan" mindset. I think you're looking at me as some sort of Big Bad Liberal who wants to "punish the hard-working rich" and "give the lazy poor a free ride."

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Prove it. SHOW ME your counterproposal instead of just whining about mine.

Why? Perhaps I'm a Republican...
