I'm 28 and want to live in the south. Florida is out b/c jobs are no where and I show Chihuahua's in AKC events and the dog laws in Florida are AWFUL!

I'm not a nighlife person, I like to be home. I grew up on a farm and would love an area that gets no cold or winter-like weather, has grass instead of desert, a small town country feel but close enough to grocery shop, work, etc. Want a safe, friendly community.

Any suggestions on an area of the state to narrow down to?

Personally--the northwestern section of Gwinnett County--metro Atlanta--Suwanee, Buford, Duluth, etc gets my vote.

We've had a number of recent threads on this area in the Atlanta forum --if you are interested I could search for them. DM me if you like.

Gwinnett county has done an outstanding job with Green Space, recreation/dog park areas and that says 'A Lot' about those that prefer to live in this are. Moderately Conservative, Progressive types--decent, productive people of all kinds generally. Plenty of shopping, places to eat, close to Lake Lanier. You might actually do well in Flowery Branch. If you want my 'advice' ==lol--just send a DM. Formerly a teacher and answering questions seems to be my 'Raison d' Etre'. :-)

Jobs are pretty much "no where" here in Georgia either. Of course, it might help to know what you do for a living, as I'm assuming that showing Chihuahua's is not a full-time profession......
