Kennesaw is a suburb of Atlanta. Hiram is maybe closer to being an exurb, being a small town on the outskirts of the metro.

You really need to provide MUCH more info if you want some serious answers.

Are you on a budget? Home price desired?

What area of town will you be working in? Is commuting a concern?

Local amenities you want?

etc etc etc.

To give a very brief summary with limited info:

Kennesaw: More upper-middle income. White collar. Predominately White with several other nationalities moving into the area (Asian, East Indian, etc). More dense area with access to I-75, a large shopping district and Town Center Mall and a Costco.

Hiram: More middle-income to lower-middle-income depending on section. More blue collar. Predominately White with a slow, small, migration of Jamaican/Haitian, Hispanic into the area. Less dense than Kennesaw. Semi-close access to I-20. Closest mall Arbor Place around 20-30 minutes. Chain store shopping district along Highway 278.
