100% correct. What a mediocre crop of hacks.

All I have to say about the Governor's Race is this (posted it in an Atlanta thread too):

Transporation is such an important issue and I urge people to vote for candidates that support transportation and mass transit. How can we boost our economy and jobs without investing in our infrastructure? We need innovative and progressive ideas to fix our transporation problems and we need a Governor that will be on board. Lowering taxes is not going to be enough to boost our economy and jobs. Not only will the construction of transporation projects create jobs, it will also help entice companies to relocate here because if we invest in our community, companies will too! Please see the bigger picture here...

I see where Karen Handel would not debate and did not show due to Ray McBerry's presence.
Is it true that this guy is or has dated teenage girls?
Seems like one of these fundamentalist nut jobs by reading his bio.
Yes, he seems to know "God's Plan"
Enough there for me!

I just heard about McBerry from this forum and it doesn't sound good.

The new, improved John Oxendine campaign | Political Insider

Remember Oxendine, “The room is Confederate gray. Reminds me of why I am running. …” He's probably going to win the Republican primary. Even if he's educated, he sounds like a dummy. I think he'll be a good ol' boy type, having fun in the mansion rather than working.

Pollster.com: GA: 2010 Governor (SurveyUSA 6/14-17)
Republicans are split on theirs, Democrats are united with Barnes. I think it's possible Barnes could win. Remember, Sonny was the first Republican to be elected Governor of Georgia since Reconstruction". Georgia swings both ways and I think it might go back to the party that brought us HOPE.
