Being an ex-Michigander and the holiday being upon us, wondering if you folks have seen any lovely flakes yet? (Yeah, yeah....I know by Feb/March it will feel different but for now...)

Unfortunately no. I don't like putting all the Christmas decorations up with no snow on the ground. Just seems wrong somehow.....

I know, jeeg. This is our first Christmas in AZ and I'm just not into the season yet. Sure, seeing the neighbor's house lit up with festive lights and the Christmas trees starting to light up in neighboring houses but...so different from last year lakeside in MI with so much blowing snow that you know Christmas is coming soon. Here's hoping you get a good snowstorm roaring in soon...

There was no snow near the Lake. Along M-43, there was snow on the ground starting at the big hill in Oshtemo and from there on east.

You can see exactly where the snow is (if the skies are clear) by going here:

Yeah, it is crazy how clear-cut the line is between snow and no snow. I drove west yesterday and the change is very abrupt. It was like driving in a time machine and crossing from December into November!
