I'm strongly considering seeing a professional for my stuttering problem. Do you guys have any recommendation on where to go?

Have your primary doctor recommend someone. There are lots of good speech therapists in G.R. but if you want your insurance to cover it, you'd most likely need a referral. If you don't have insurance and no money to pay for what are very high cost sessions you could apply at Calvin college's speech pathology department where you'd work with student speech therapists overseen by professors. Cost is extremely affordable to none depending on your circumstances. BUT they have a waiting list and their fall semester slots are probably already filled.

Western Michigan University down in Kalamazoo is supposed to be one of the best out there.

I have no idea if they have extensions of that program in GR or not?

Google Gillian Borkowski in Grand Rapids. I went to her in my teens/early 20's and out of all the audiologists/speech therapists I've seen in my life, she was/is by far my favorite.
Haven't been a patient in close to 15 years but I'm quite certain she is still practicing there.
