I just got hired at Kent ISD and I have never been in the Grand Rapids area before. Does anyone know of a friendly apartment complex, with a good maintenance system, affordable price ($600-700), and close to the 1800 Leffingwell Ave area. Can anyone help me out with this? Also, do any of these apartments come already furnished? Please help me!

There are a couple of apartment complexes in that area, but can't recall their names. Or around the 5 Mile/East Beltline area is not that far away.

There are a few complexes on Knapp street that look nice. I just googled and the name of several near there (it's not far from that Leffingwell address) came up.

Is this area fairly safe? I don't want to live in a place where people would rob me or other crime has been known to happen.
