Anyone live in Belmont? Expanded my search from only Forest Hills schools to include Rockford and came across many nice homes in Belmont. Moving at the end of February and need to buy a house ASAP. Looks to me like a very rural location but close to Amway, where I will be working. Thoughts? Any info will be greatly appreciated!

It's not that rural... definitely more suburban. There are quite a few housing developments in that area. It's sort of a fill-in area between Comstock Park and Rockford. Very easy access to US 131. That's about all I know.

Belmont is more suburban than rural. The White Pine rail trail passes through there.
It is relatively quiet but has quick access to busy Plainfield Avenue shopping.

It's a good deal. You get lower Belmont real estate prices but with Rockford schools and easy access to 131. There's even a relatively new Meijer at 10 Mile/Belmont Road.
