Never been but we will be going this year. Has anyone attended in the past and if so how did you enjoy it? Is there any parking near by?

Thanks in advance.

Plan to walk, as there's not really a lot of parking nearby. But it's downtown in a pretty vibrant area so the walking is not a big deal.

Park in some outlying area and take the bus, just about any bus as the depot is right at the fest.

I've gone twice and there's always parking within a half mile at the most. It's a great time, founder Brewing Co. is by far my favorite part of Grand Rapids, MI!

Any suggestions for a good place for breakfast close to the Amway Hotel?

Yes... Sundance Grill on Pearl St. (same street as the Amway Grand.) Just walk straight east from the hotel on Pearl and you will see it on the south side of the street. It's one block away, on the corner of Ottawa.

Just a heads up, Sundance Grill is moving to the Waters Building at the NW corner of Pearl and Ottawa. I don't know if they have moved yet, but if they haven't they are supposed to be open at the old location until they finish construction at the new place.

Website says 40 Pearl St. so I'm going to assume that's where they will be by the weekend.

Thanks to you both for the help.

I don't think they've moved yet.

Definitely good breakfast. Maybe even better than the upscale options in the Amway Grand.

Even better, when it comes to breakfast I prefer homestyle over fancy.
