What kind? Pediatrician? General Practictioner? OB/Gyn? Specialist? Veterinarian?

Does anyone know of any good general practitioners? I've tried a few but all were not taking any new patients. I am still looking for a doctor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My husband tried Dr. Sharma, one of the (only?) few doctors accepting new patients around here. He liked him. Added bonus that he does acupuncture. We've just been here a few months now, and have also looked extensively.
I'm holding out for Drs. Phillips and Phillips' office. They will have additional capacity in September with a new doctor. They are located in East Grand Rapids, where we live. Let's see if I make it that long...
