Has anyone been to the Annual Kite Festival in Grand Haven?

Just wondering if it is worth going to.

Have not been there but planning to drive from Omaha this year. Are you a kiter at all? Even if not - it should be fun to watch.

I think MACkite people - who are behind the festival - do have an excellent knowledge of the products on the market.
When I contacted them last year re: best trainer kite, they did share lots of good insights. Good luck!

Default Kite Festival

I have going to the kite festival for the last 4 years. I am not a really a kite person, but it is lots of fun. The weather in May can be anywhere from awesome 80+ degrees to 50 degrees and raining.

The weather has been great the past 4 years for the kite festival. The kite people put on a great show. Grand Haven is fun town to visit and they have one of the best beaches in the world.
