Anyone have an idea as to where we could find temporary housing for 3 months while we buy a home? We are currently in a rental and our lease is up in a few months. We thought we would be able to buy a house by now and move out July 1 no problem. Trouble is that the housing market is really tight right now and there isn't a ton of inventory out there (at least where we are looking - east grand rapids - and in the price range we want). We were hoping to move out of our current rental July 1 and possibly look into a short term option over the summer, assuming we can find a house then. If anyone knows of a summer sublet, please pass on. We have tried some of the nicer, bigger apartment complexes (falls of Ada, etc) but they only lease in 6 month increments. Any advice/help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
