Hi,

I am planning to Move to Grand Rapids. I have two kids going to Elementary school. We are Asian Family.
I am planning to rent for sometime before buying a house. I would like to get some info from Schools, Acceptance perspective.

My budget for house is 250K and would like to settle in a good , Quiet subarb. My Kids are more outgoing so they would easily mingle with most people as long as its a accepting community.

Any Suggestion from the Housing, Schools and Area Perspective would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
MI

You mentioned a house budget of 250K but you're talking about renting. Are you looking to rent or buy?

It's pretty difficult to find homes to rent in the good school districts right now.

Have to agree.

Michigan, God bless its soul, taxes the crap out of people who own homes and do not live there(like landlords), so, good luck with renting, especially in desirable areas.

I still think this is a troll thread.

Meh, seems like a typical inquiry thread. We used to get a lot more back in the old days, but a lot of these questions have been answered in a myriad of past posts.
