Grand Rapids became the new home of the Michigan Winter Beer Fest this past weekend. The event featured 30 Michigan breweries and over 2000 beer enthusiasts. Despite ticket prices of $35/person, the first event here sold out fast!

Default Fun

Yes it was much fun magellen..........did you go, In fact I think I might have some photos from the event. All though the drive from Ann Arbor wasn't the greatest, I took a shuttle from arbor brewing for an extra 35 but it was worth it. Stayed in a hotel near the event. Don't know if I like it in Lansing or GR better, what do you think?

Peace

We were going to go and couldn't get tickets. I had friends who went and said it was a great time. I'm not crazy about the location, but the city is looking at trying to get a venue that works for the MBG that is closer to downtown.

I couldn't get tickets either.

From what I heard, it was fun.\

Nothing (and I mean *nothing*) matches the Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison, WI though. That beer fest rivals any of them.

I got my tickets and i'm all ready to go! I'm not sure about the location but I think with enough good beer just about any location would do.

Jeez, maybe I'll get to this one of these years. But by the time I think about going, it's sold out:
