Good news! Since the State of Michigan can't seem to get its sh*t together regarding funding for education, roads and a host of other needed services, Kent County residents (Grand Rapids is the largest city in Kent Co), passed a millage increase to help inject funding into its financially starved school districts.

Great news for Kent County

Why do you think the state government is failing to get its sh*t together regarding education and road funding? Where are all our taxes going? Do we need to raise them statewide for roads and education?

That's been tried and it always fails. The legislation has gotten way too "conservative."
