We have a relative visiting from out of state who loves to paint and draw landscapes. He has asked us to find him places to work his craft while he's visiting. So far we are taking him to Grand Haven to do the lighthouse and Frederick Meijer Gardens for all of the beauty there.
He would like to do some old barns as well. I seem to remember there being a park south or southeast of Rockford somewhere that has an old barn on it. I don't remember the name tho.

We haven't had a chance to visit Holland yet and I know the Tulip festival was a month ago, can anyone tell me if the flowers are still in bloom?

Are there any other areas we should consider in the GR metro area?

He is elderly so it should be somewhere that doesn't require much walking.

Thank you.
