So what part of my post do you disagree with? Your situation isn't even the same as the OP.'

Hello all. If I could inquire, how is the energy sector there? I have heard there are some oil/pipeline companies in Grand Rapids.
My husband and I are desperate to get out of Houston. We both lived in Michigan (only for a year and 1/2) but so enjoyed the four seasons, especially fall and winter. We were south of Detroit, me in Gibraltar and he in Trenton. We have never been to Grand Rapids, though.
Thanks for any help/advise you can give!
Stephanie

Wolverine Gas & Oil has their offices here in GR. They have a lot of wells in Utah I believe.
