Our local PBS station ran an episode of Antiques Roadshow that was from Grand Rapids. They talked about Herman Miller and lots of interesting stuff about your area. I was wondering if any one here went and how long ago it was filmed. Did you have anything appraised and any surprises?

I think it was filmed last Summer. I remember reading that the process of getting into the convention center for the show was a lot more difficult than I thought. Here's an article on it. 27,000 people vied for only 6800 spots:

Grand Rapids is even more interesting than what they show, some come visit!

My wife went with a few items. But, I'm still working, so I guess you can assume they weren't worth anything.

Default The Second night

On the second program they cheated and did part of it in Holland but overall the shows gave a very positive image of GR and its inhabitants. Hope to visit soon!
