I am going to be flying up to GR later this week to attend an event this weekend. However as I have Cricket cell service here in Texas, I was wondering if its possible to get signal service there in the GR area? According to Cricket's coverage map it says that there is Premium Extended service coverage there, but I would like to know from actual subscribers that have Cricket if the service works there. I would hope its not all roaming between GR and Holland, but if it is I will have to look at possibly getting a different service that has reliable coverage.

Never heard of Cricket myself. Their coverage map indicates you would need a "tri-band" phone in the GR - Holland area. Good luck, I am interested to see what posters from down that way have to say about coverage, it looks like a rather low priced carrier when it comes to plan prices.

I have the Samsung Messenger phone which is a tri-band phone. I read over their coverage map and it does indicate that the W. Michigan area has Premium Extended coverage, but not sure if you can get full coverage in the Holland/GR areas. Hopefully someone who also has Cricket service that has been to this area may have a better idea on how well the coverage is. As a former Michigander myself, I miss living in the area.
