Not true. It depends on the state. In NYC, both food and CASH are placed on the SAME card.

Good luck trying to get cash benefits these days from the government, though.

I can't imagine surviving with NO CASH in my pocket to purchase basic necessities. It must be an awful feeling to be held captive in that manner. No wonder people sell their foodstamps.

I wonder if those welfare individuals can put all their money offshore in bank accounts in the Cayman Islands or Swiss Banks..... ??????????????????????????? You know how devious these people are! They're looking for tax shelters so they don't have to pay the government.

Surprise! Nancy Pelosi made up to $5 million in offshore investments last year.

We are bankrolling the Political welfare.

“Americans need to ask themselves, why does an the Political Wealthy need a offshore accounts and secretive investments like that? Just something, a thought, that I’d like to leave folks with.”

Some of the “preposterously wealthy” Democrats who do use such off-shore accounts include

Senators Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.),
Richard Blumenthal (D., Conn.),
Frank Lautenberg (D., N.J.),
John Kerry (D., Mass.).

That should be music to Reid’s ears, since his transparency crusade might be a little easier to pull off within his own party.

No, you can only buy food with SNAP/FS, but if your card has cash (some people in my state get cash benefits) then those will be on the EBT card too.

What would Jesus do with these “screaming meme’s and welfare queens?

The question about Walmart and EBT cards was answered in several posts. But the question now remains and should always have been stated, “if the churches and assistance organizations in our communities can’t or don’t help these people, then who will?” What did you do this week to help someone? It’s so easy to call someone a screaming meme or a welfare queen but what answers to you have that will correct this? What is your solution?

They were going to build a bridge to the Island airport in Toronto...a contract was signed with a builder...The city breached the contract..and no bridge was built...The contractor of course sent in a squad of lawyers and demanded damages for the breach of contract...The city paid the contractor millions of dollars to a contractor who did nothing other than make a call to a law firm...What kind of slick high end welfare payout is that?

So someone in cheap closes who collects welfare is an abuser..but someone who collects welfare who wears a 25 hundred dollar suit is not an abuser? Funny how that works...people look up and respect the poor who are rich because they are crooks but do not respect the poor who are poor who are not crooks//
