Will society in the United States ever get to a point to where males and females will share public restrooms at the same time? Will society ever evolve on the issue of gender separation in public places?
I don't want to have to go into the restroom with my young daughter each time she has to go. I'm not going to let my young daughter go into any restroom by herself where other men are going. I don't want to go to jail for beating the snot out of some man who does something inappropriate not realizing I'm waiting for my young daughter.
I saw a coed public toilet in part of Japan. It just lacked the space to have separate bathrooms built. I didn't think I was a prude, but after I exited the stall and had to pass a few men peeing at the urinals, it felt wierd to me.
Also, I get really sick and tired of mothers in this country taking their sons into the ladies room.
They already do. In many places, people may use the restroom according to the gender they identify with, not the gender they are born to.
Apparently. That would explain why I have such a hard time finding a toilet in the ladies room that doesn't have pee splashed on the seat. One time, I had to make a pit stop when I was at a Macy's store. Someone went into the stall next to me, peed, and the pee was shooting out sideways from their seat, and onto the floor toward my stall. I almost got squirted! Yuck! Nasty tranny.
I'm not bashful by any stretch of the imagination. I joke all of the time about how I believe the TSA wouldn't be needed if everyone flew in the nude...
On topic >> When somebody leers at me at the urinal I usually say one of two things:
"Yeah, pretty impressive huh?"
"Since you're so interested, do you want to shake it for me when I'm done?"
In any case, while I don't personally care whether or not restrooms are free-for-all, I can understand the desire for privacy and/or gender segregation. Women in particular tend to be very uptight about their restroom usage and physical attributes in general; they're often messier and, honestly, those feminine hygiene products smell worse than just about anything I can think of.
I'll apologize in advance since I'm undoubtedly bound to attract some scornful wrath for my commentary.
If men had to smell the air in women's bathrooms when someone takes a dump, they might all end up playing for their own team. And yes, having had to share the women's room and having once had a job cleaning them, I agree that women mess them more. Men are more prone to vandalizing the place.

I agree all the way with your statement. I deal with this all the time as a property we own has PUBLIC
restrooms and i see young girls going in there and I'll be dammed if i see a man enter, as half of em look like the scum of the earth. Does anyone think of young children when making these wishes, and the amount of
pedophiles out there waiting to pounce..
I've entered such bathrooms and thrown out men who go in there as i feel strongly about protecting innocent
children. And it's the perfect environment for a predator. A bathroom..
A private bathroom that is a one stall thing with a door that can lock, well i don't have a problem with..but
Public bathrooms should remain MALE/FEMALE only..
They do; just use lock on door now in many bathrooms. Woman often avoid those type businesses tho and I don't blame them see habits myself.most people I know where to avoid using public bathrooms separate or not.
Man I hope not. I was in Japan and had to walk past a line of guys standing at urinals to get to the one stall in the very back of the restroom. I think it was a bit of a jolt for them to have a young American woman stroll by while they were... at it.
But seriously, would you want to take your young daughter or granddaughter in the midst of that? Men's rooms are so gross, besides.
