That's different. People do not mix together because of cultural i.e foods and stuffs not because they look down on the others. I hang out with people with the same ethnics background because we eat the same foods, drink the same drinks not because we look down on the others. And that's only among the first generation.

LOL - apparently you haven't been following the news. Black people rioting and protesting for months on end because black criminals are apparently sacrosanct.

I'm glad I'm old and won't be here to see the end.

I predict our downtown areas, of any sized city, will become islands in the stream of our 3rd world transformation, and if you wander too far away from the downtown area will be like falling off a cliff! The prophecy of suburbs being future slums will come quicker than one thinks! And the remaining middle classes and the rich will huddle together in the rejuvenated downtown areas. Which is already happening!

L.A. has been slow to attract the wealthier to the downtown area, but all the new high rise condo's being built there now (The Metropolis project just broke ground!) is going to chase any of the remaining poor out of there!

Chicago is one city that's way ahead of the pack!

I don't know where YOU live in LA, but I live on the east side, and it is heavily Asian and Hispanic and probably about as many white people as black people. And I don't see any racial divide, at all. I see all sorts living next to all sorts. I also go to LA City College, which is like the world in microcosm. I literally hear at least a half a dozen languages walking through the halls. I almost NEVER see any kind of rudeness or difficulty with anyone.

And as someone on here has already stated, equating the demise of the white majority with some kind of Third World changeover is bizarre and not rooted in facts, unless you want to call the entire platform of White Supremacist movements fact. And as I have asked before, what does "white" even mean? Northern European? Does that include Spain? Does that include the original Aryans, largely comprised of people from India? Who are not white-skinned? Try and make sense out of this and it becomes a hopeless muddle.

For people who subscribe to supremacist theories, no matter what the race, you just about have to stick your head in the sand and ignore science and sociology to make any of it have a leg to stand on. And its a free country, so go ahead, but no what you are getting into.

The most dangerous thing about it is that it ignores the real issues- which are economic. Put any person of color in any sort of power and they are gonna act pretty much the same, unfortunately. Money and power are the real issues and always have been, not race. Race is simply a by-product of environment and evolution. Its culture that divides people. And culture is shaped by economic power, at least in first world countries.

Anyway, the thing people forget about the west, especially America, is that we are an unusual country that has ALWAYS, ALWAYS been shaped by outsiders. ALWAYS. This is what makes us vital, what helps us survive. Every one adds something to the tapestry. Look at our language- I am boggled by how many of our words come from non-English sources. European supremacy in culture in the west is changing, as it naturally would. Change is good. We are a nation of mutts and always have been, and drawing lines based on race simply doesn't tell much of a story. And personally, all think all those shades and stories and countries and cultures coming together ADD something, they don't take away.

If you hate it, there is always Norway. Enjoy all that eternal night!

You are kidding, right? Argentina? Open a history book. Argentina has been rife with dictatorships and terrible governing for a LONG time. Never mind the fact that it was pretty much Club Med for Nazis. New immigrants voting for leftist leaning politicians? Most of the new immigrants come from heavily Catholic countries who are, if anything, more likely to be conservative. And if you think voting brings upon juntas and coups, I just don't even know what to say to that. Countries don't dissolve into madhouses because of VOTING. Unless you want to call, say, one of Ukraine's rigged elections "Voting".

Why are yall talking about La like its all of America..Personally IM pretty sure will become like England. More Statist Socialist and a former empire. Weve over expanded ourselves militrary wise and I think increasing black and Latino voting power will make for more of a socialist state, and even asians, theyre sort of nationalist-socialist in their countries and vote democrat in the States. However I think our strength will be Stem because Asians are now the fastest groing group in America and we will be accpeting and naturalizing all the asians we can going forward specifically for stem. In addition to this we will have a ton of car-sharing, home-sharing, condominium and apartment living and a lot of services becuas eof our increasing metropolitization and a need for utilitarian services, with a high demand coming from blacks and latinos. Overall I think it will be fine. Well have less inequality eventually but the rest of our problems will likely remain. Up here in the Northeast Demographics will be very mixed but it's going to be much blacker than in the west. Southern New England by 2050 will probablly be 55% white (mostly Italian Irish and Portuguese) 22-23% Latino (Dominican Puerto Rican Salvadorian Columbian with a smattering of Mexicans) 10% black (mostly 2nd and 3rd generation West Indian with a sizeable AA population) 7% asian and 6% mixed race. Much less of a mosaic up here. Our region is about 70% white now but diversifying a bit quicker than the rest of the US due to white here being so old and moneyed they are moving south to avoid taxes and or retire.

It is just going to become more divided overall. Third world countries don't have a rich upper-class. You can't force a population to obey dysfunctional fiscal policies like liberals want. Liberals are ruining the country in a big way, most are too ignorant to understand how things really work. They lack REALITY. The entitlement mentality and feminism are destroying the American spirit and way of life.

It will never be a third world country because fortunately their are good people standing up for what is right and good. The percentage of them in relation to the population is not very high but enough.

Ignorance, laziness, greed , lack of personal responsibility, arrogance and a dash of integrity make for an interesting combination for democracy to be successful.

The atmosphere of "Political Correctness" will demand lesser standards for blacks, and that the rest of society go along with that, more illegals entering the country will have a negative effect on the economy. By the way, ISIS can come across our Mexican border with no problems- thanks Obama! What would you expect from a muslim President! Eventually, we will be The United States of Islam. We are too concerned about offending others, and our own President refuses to call them "Islamic Terrorists". When the enemy is in the White House with a Capitol building full of "leaders" that only care about their own self- interests- and a populace that is largely apathetic and ignorant, why wouldn't we become a third world nation?!

The biggest problem we will face as a country is the separation into a class of very, very wealthy, another class of technocrats supporting the wealthy and a mass of people educated only enough to do the grunt work still required by everyone else. This lower class will be paid only enough to survive, taught that subservience is a virtue and there is no shame in government handouts.

The result will be cosmopolitan cities with wealthy downtowns surrounded by suburbs full of underpaid workers and welfare recipients all surrounded by high tech industrial areas and exurbia of the very wealthy second homes mixed with agribusiness farms. as one poster said about the State of Washington- step beyond the Seattle suburbs and you are in West Virginia. That is also true of Boston. Once you are out of commuting range of the cities most of the places is not all that wealthy and unlikely to ever become so.

Despite attempts to control it, this has become a race bashing thread.
