Give away a few bucks, get a vote. Give away another few bucks, get a vote.

Seems to have worked well the last few years.

Default Successful?

GOP - Successful at what? Hoodwinking the public? I just got an e-mail asking for the endorsement of a piece of proposed legislation that has arisen.
The Robin Hood Tax it is nicknamed. A tax on stock market and securities transactions. A tax on the wealthy investor and broker. The money jugglers that do so much harm to the economy through profiteering. Would bring in billions annually too. Tens of billions and would bring less risk to Wall Street.
The Democrat party has enacted so much legislation that was for the common good. S.S., medicare, taft-hartley, voting rights, the list goes on and on, and on. Clean air and water, automobile safety, truth in lending ( & advertising), age discrimination, head start, Fed. student loans, civil rights, community mental health clinics, head start. Now Obamacare.
The top 1% cannot buy everything. They can try.

Because they are selfish and set up phony businesses and cheat on their taxes at a far greater level than do Democrats.

Also, they want to create dynasties and insist on calling estate taxes "death taxes."

What would happen if a middle class liberal won a $500M lottery?

What if a middle class conservative won the same lottery?

The conservative would most likely bank the money not taxed in the form of investments while the liberal - happy to pay the taxes - would blow it up and be broke within 5 years.

Warren Buffet, Charlie Rangel, and Al Sharpton are Republicans? Wow, who knew?

Let's just talk Warren Buffett. He is of course, a well known Democrat and you should know (if you don't already) that he does not plan to leave a lot of money to his kids, so no dynasty for the kiddies.

I like, respect and trust Warren Buffett, including with some of my money.
