It's been around for awhile now, since 1999. People enter their own definitions and examples. If you're not sure what some word means or how it's used at large (like with slang, popular verbiage or just any word), it's an interesting place to go and check out.
Do you use it? Have you ever contributed to it? What do you think of it in general?
I personally think that it's a useful resource, much along the lines of Wikipedia.
I was recently involved in a (erm) "discussion" regarding the use of the word "creep" or "creepy" to describe a person (most likely male) and how the use of that word, specifically, might or might not give the person in question a social stigma.
One person cited the definition proposed in the Urban Dictionary as the way in which the word should be interpreted. My stance on it is that, while it's certainly an interesting perspective, it is not definitive in any way, shape or form, and shouldn't be taken as such.
