It often seems to be the case.

It's still a man's world.

ie: good ole boys club. Make grossly more money. Can walk away from their kids and not pay a dime in support. They are top at most female.dominataed careers. Etc

Simply put, if a male of the society fell while protecting the women and children then the surviving woman could mate with survivors after the culturally acceptable time and do more to help the community's long term survival. Assuming that you are not in the total genocide version of a war. Excess males just insures a low level civil war to gain the opportunity to have a female sexual partner

Just stopped by to see what criteria was being used? It might be an interesting discussion if the criteria was defined. Without that, the thread is as meaningless as asking for one's favorite color or number.

It's hard to see how this qualifies as a "great debate", or any kind of debate at all, without some context and definition of what you hope to be talking about.

Of course it does. That's why men traditionally, and still in the majority today, are in the military and die in wars. They are considered expendable. 100s of millions of expendable men, killed in war. Disposable.

we're all people, our lives are important to each of us.

If you want your life to mean more, help others. Gender has nothing to do with it.
