Dalhousie University in Canada is openly stating that a vice-provost student affairs position "will be restricted to racially visible persons and Aboriginal peoples at this time".
Apparently, "Student Affairs" has become a racial matter. This is my favorite part:
"Walsh said this approach is still about hiring the most qualified people.
"From my perspective, there isn't a merit argument that runs counter to this. In fact, this actually is the way for us to develop the most meritorious faculty and staff population," she said."
In other words, it isn't possible for anyone who is white to be the most qualified person for the position. By virtue of nothing more than being white, one is automatically unqualified, no matter their skills or experience. Further, considering race above all else is the approach that will give the most meritorious faculty and staff.
So, this is where we stand in 2018. White people are no longer eligible for certain positions of authority or influence in their own country, the one they built. Does anyone else see a problem with this?

It's 2018, We can identify as another gender, and Trans-age was recently brought up, If we can decide our age and gender, I guess 16 year olds can identify 21 and buy beer, and I can be whatever race I want to be, Can I have the position now?
Can white people tan enough to be, "racially visible," and then apply?
I wonder how long until whites start claiming they're other races in order to get jobs, across the globe.
Also, why doesn't she give her job to an aboriginal or whatever?
Great question. If racial diversity is so valuable, she should resign her own position so that it can be filled by a minority. If only we had one reporter willing to ask these questions...
And you attribute that to what? Open discrimination against white people?
I realize you have an agenda here, and that's fine. But don't put words in my (or other people's) mouth. My comment was a response to another poster's comment that, "Canada is truly the Cuckoo Cuckold Capital of the North". That's all my comment responded to. Nothing more. Nothing less. But now I will add that when we get our own problems under control -- which we never have -- then we can cast stones to other democracies.
