So man the full length of your southern border with garrisons and lines of security men standing 10 feet apart or even shoulder to shoulder if necessary. What is so hard about that? It's not as if you don't have the resources to do that and it's cheaper and shorter than building something like the stone wall of China over the course of 200 years.

It's cheap, because it's in a major hurricane corridor.

The real shame of it is that doesn't need to be the case. America has the manpower, resources and highly advanced technology to detect and prevent that kind of stuff from happening.

I want to crash the Canadian border. I want to live on Howe Sound. Who the H knew there was a huge, breathtaking Norwegian fjord just around the corner from the city of Vancouver?! Part of it is within city limits, even! I've fallen in love with that part of West Van. Discovered it by accident, online.

Could you adopt me, Zo, so I could retire to Van? Pretty please? I'll come and do your laundry and cleaning for you...

I know that, and the resources and technology exists to overcome that too.

There are many fjords just around the corner, and thousands up the coast. Ruth, when our border is open again (which I don't anticipate for another year) and the opportunity arises for you, you come on up here for a visit for a week or two and I'll escort you around to some of our hidden treasures. Vancouver is lovely but it isn't the be all to end all ..... the be alls to end alls are tucked away out of sight and kept secret. We'll take the ferry and pop over to the islands for good measure too. Bring lots of money..... BC stands for Bring Cash.

Sure let them in, no social services for the first 8 years. That means, no medical care, food stamps, wic no kids in the schools unless they pay tuition. They can be here but the gov won't provide anything for them. If you commit a crime the standard penalty is 8x but not to exceed 15 years extra. If you drive drunk and get a 1 year jail term it's now 8 years.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't public schools in America paid for out of people's taxes? If so and new immigrants are working at jobs and paying taxes just like everyone else then why should they pay tuition fees or else their children will be deprived of education if they don't pay tuition? Isn't it against the law for children to be deprived of education?
