I agree 100% with this.

It cost less for the government to train/school welfare recipients than a welfare recipient being on welfare for a lifetime and making babies and getting more welfare!

So?

Let me put it this way. When I worked for the Feds I often had people come across my desk who had screwed around in HS, dropped out, got drugged up and now they can't hold a job to save their life. Now, in their late 30's to early 50's they've grown up and want retraining. Rather than take accountability for their life, go to Wal Mart and work their way up they want the feds to send them to college or a vocational school... And I say, 'no'. People have to have some accountability for their lives. I refused these people for those who needed the schooling due to uinforseen incidents in their lives. The person who had a massive stroke and can no longer do the work they used to, or the construction worked that a load of brincks fell on...

NOW there IS a such thing as vocational retardation meaning you don't have the skills to get a job that feeds yourself and your children. IN that case there should be temporary welfare and the person should be supplied training and schooling and should be cut off once he/she completes training. As far as the bold statement above,I believe that your statement was racially motivated and I believe that people can buy what they want with their EBT....As long as the children arent going without.

Nope, not racially motivated. In fact, the family I'm talking about happens to be hispanic, but the people that work under the table are white.

And no, I don't think they should be able to 'buy whatever they want' with their EBT cards. I think it should be limited to non-processed foods and absolutely NO soft drinks/sodas/little debbie cakes and whatnot. If they aren't working, then they should be able to cook a wholesome meal for their children. It's much healthier and better for the children.

Slavery was the most cost-effective way to provide labor to the new colonies.
You don't treat human beings the most cost-effective way. Not if you have morality and decency and a conscience.

So we should simply let them repeatedly reproduce (the only thing they seem to be good at) and use their children as meal tickets? And just be like "it's OK...we'll take care of it" for the rest of their lives?

How is that fair to the rest of us?

So you want to stop giving welfare to the people that actually need it? What is your argument? stop giving welfare to the people that don't need it? Believe me you're not alone, when I found out illegal immigrants could receive federal funding I almost flipped out. But its kinda unavoidable with the current system, and seeing as how I'm not starving I don't mind these people getting a free ride for the time being.

I already stated my idea in a previous post. I should have added another point to that which would be "get rid of the illegals now!".

Getting the illegals out would open up a lot of manual labor jobs. Those who are on welfare and have no work skills (because they have been on welfare and it wasn't necessary) could easily do the manual labor and make an honest living. The added benefit would be all the millions our government gives the women who come here just to pop out a llittle anchor. They could all stay home as well.

That would be a twofer.

No, we're supposed to turn them into obedient mindless workers , so stockholders can use their children as meal tickets, and then kick them into the streets and slums when their work is no longer needed.
