What country in the world has the highest percentage of people whose mother graduated from high school? USA? Nope. Russia. Would these "numbes and results" have anything to do with "a better life for its people"? Most of the top ten are former socialist countries.

Great numbers. Thanks for the information. However, what does education have to do with standard of living. Well, I agree that education opportunities area factor, not the only one though.
Now, despite the numbers you provide, look at the numbers of people migrating to other countries in the world.
Maybe look at the different countries embassies and see which embassies have long lines requesting to move to those countries. Look at the numbers of application requests and compare.

Just looking, I have been in about 25 countries and the few embassies I have seen do not have the long lines the US and other countries have. I would like to see how the lines look at the Russian embassies of westerners trying to migrate over there. Well, why not look at China's embassies or India's.

Do you think all those people are trying to migrate to the US and other western companies because they love the bad life?

Of those socialists countries you list, what is their economic strenght? What type of countries are part of the G8?

Most of the "former" socialist countries are in the top ten? Great! Many are joining the capitalist system in some form!! I have never claimed we are the top capitalist country, have I? I am claiming a capitalist system as the US and other countries have provide a better way of life.

People emigrate for one reason alone. To have easy access to cash. There is plenty floating around in the US, and hundreds of millions of gullible people with too much of it, and no sales resistance at all. Yes, people want to live in the US. No, it's not because the lifestyle is so great. They want money.

The first thing an immigrant does in the US is buy a gun, to defend himself against the Americans.

The above is a false statement.

MANY immigrate to get away from things like torture. Or, for political freedom.

I do not know what parts of the world you have visited. I provide simple observation on my part.

First you can get hung up on numbers but it is also good to combine it with observation. You can provide numbers and I know people can do the same with the opposite view.

However, there is a point where you have to get the numbers blanket from your face and look around.

As I have said, I have been priviledged to be in about 25 countries and about 25 states.

First of all. You giving a narrow answer. One reason alone? To have easy access to cash? Is it easy to get cash? Even to steal it takes some skills if you do not want to get cought.

Also, the first thing they do is buy a gun?

Wow!

I will not say the money is not a reason, however, there are so many reasons people do migrate and at great perils.

What is wrong with money if it is a means to have a better life?

Human beings have migrated since the dawn of time to survive and wherever they think their chances of survival and a better life exist, they have moved there. Nothing wrong with that.

Why not examine Maslow's pyramid and you will see how migration makes sense.

Once people take care of their most important needs other needs start to come into play.

However, please tell me a single flaw we need to fix and how as I asked so we can get more into details.

Your education point is well taken but despite that people are moving to the places I told you.

You have a great day.
