Bounty Hunters are a good thing indeed ; why wouldnt capturing a dangerous fugitive be a good thing regardless of what the Hunter looks like , smokes, or voted for ?

I knew two bounty hunters in the late 1980's and early 1990's. They were both in their mid 40's. Now, if they represent "modern" or not, I have no clue.

Both of these cats were dedicated and spent a great deal of time on the road. I remember them as being able to do things that law enforcement could not do and spend the time that most law enforcement could not afford to. I think at the time that it never registered in my mind if they were hooligans or not. They simply were.

What I do not know and, frankly, never thought to ask either of them was if they believed that what they were doing was just or aiding justice or was this merely a way to make bank. I wonder if my attitude would have changed. The job is not a pretty one.

i watched the repo show about 5 times and it seems to me that they are just making things worse.. if the cops went up to most of these people and repo the car or boat etc there would be less confrontation it wouldn't surprize me some night when i turn on the tv that i hear repo man killed while trying to take someons car..some of them look like cocky villains to me..
