I think you can do better then depend on porn.. Are you really happy?
It makes you look desperate. and that you cant relax and enjoy a relationship like you was created to have.

Some people are not currently in a relationship that they "was created to have". Are you suggesting that a person who is not in such a relationship should use an unwilling partner, by force or deception, rather than use images as an arousing substitute?
Our local library has no filters on internet use in the adult section. I am a frequent customer of our the library, although I rarely use the computers there, since mine at home is better.
There have been NO cases of somebody getting themselves off in the library. At least not so that anyone else could tell. It's really an unfounded worry.
It's not like other materials, where if the library doesn't want it they just don't order it. They have the internet, therefore porn is available. It would cost them extra to filter it, and those filters are unreliable at best, and typically also filter out legitimate content. The fact that they have to take extra steps to eliminate it makes it active censorship, which I am against.
There are certain risks inherent in a free society. You can be safe or you can be free, take your choice. You cannot have both.
Good post. My feelings exactly. I have very strong feelings about the Constitution and the First Amendment, which makes me defend some loathsome stuff at times.
Freedom of speech and information is a basic human right, but there are consequences. Neo-Nazis can demonstrate peacefully in a park. Fred Phelps and his wacko congregation can hold up horrible signs or pass out pamphlets in front of a gay bar. I don't LIKE those people--I'd have to bite my tongue pretty hard not to yell at them--but I will defend their right to free speech. I understand the need to prevent children from being exposed to porn, but I believe that reasonable measures can be taken.
Anyone with a Blackberry can watch porn in a library--are we going to confiscate smartphones at the door? Anyone with access to e-mail can watch a video sent to them--are we going to bar access to personal e-mail? I've never used one of those "net nannies" and don't know how good they are, but I am positive that anyone with a little creativity and half a brain can find something pornographic despite the filters. There's lots of pervy images on Wikipedia. And of course, there is lots and lots of sex in the written word. Most libraries have entire sections of romance novels.
Reasonable accommodations. Separate areas for computers. Access for children granted through parental consent. Heavy punishments for people who break the law. My library exists just fine with these parameters.

because porn in bad for your sexual psyche, you get aroused looking at naked men and women at the same time, you 'er suppose to just pick one. Libraries shouldn't be contributing to damaged psyches.

Greetings,
You have a way of twisting around what folks are trying to explain to you.
I believe you enjoy it. If you were to find a decent relationship, I dout it would last since you base your way of pleasure that is false.
You have had enough explanations and advice. It is up to you to learn from it and apply it to your life and quit playing games.
I have said enough and I trully hope you find yourself...

I would be in favor of having screens on the computer.
I work in a public library and I sometimes have an issue with the guys that come in and look at porn, especially when kids are around.
i agree--libraries in large towns have become a hangout for degenerates, mentally ill, drugged out homeless.
i think that filtered computers in the children's section are the answer----as to adults viewing porn in the library ----why---aren't libraries there to enhance one's knowledge?--what will porn teach---how to abuse and degrade others?
If one needs to be visually stimulated EVERY community has adult shops---start a free library there___may boost buisness

You know absolutely nothing about me. Unlike selfish proselytizers, I represent and defend viewpoints here that do not necessarily reflect my own lifestyle or interests, but those of whom I respect the freedom to live as they wish.
I have had no explanations from you whatsoever, because your posts are so disjointed and illogical, that we can only guess what your explanations are, and as for your advice, I can't think of anyone I'd be less likely to accept the advice of.
You're right about one thing---you've said enough.
