This post makes me crave Tiger meat

o, wait, that's impossible, because mg420 says so. Now I need to go to my hometown and inform my family's neighbors that what they've eaten regularly for generations is undigestable. I bet they'll appreciate the news.

We should all eat like we did way back when then.

If it's slow enough to catch, it goes in the pot.

Let me remind mg of my post earlier: //www.city-data.com/forum/13075448-post10.html

The science is on the side of humans as omnivores.

Default This is not the religion forum!

Being a late comer to this thread, I just read through it in its entirety. I am not the first to point this out here, but all the discussion about the Bible is totally beside the point. It is just amazing that there is so much of it in this thread.

Back to the OP's main point; if I were the OP I would be embarrassed to post such total nonsense. Posters here have made the obvious point that we, as a species, are omnivores. There is no legitimate debate about that.

Now, one can make a case for being a vegan, that is, for departing from our historical dietary roots as a species. I have no quarrel with that, although I am not one. There are a number of very good arguments for veganism, but that would be a separate thread.

Carpaccio.

I wouldn't eat it, but some people like it. I'm not really that into eating steak either. I prefer ground meats.

None, apparently.

Well duh. But it doesn't matter, religious "debates" are very much tolerated if not encouraged here vs the obviously far more appropriate Religion Forum. Welcome to city-data.com.

Shattering The Meat Myth: Humans Are Natural Vegetarians

Well of course we are!!!! That's why we have canine teeth and incisors, and eyes in the front of our heads, just like the other omnivores.
