We are choosing to bond with drugs over people.
FWIW - I only made the list in my Post #11 from observing the choice problems people discuss in these forums. I do not really concern myself with any of them. What I am concerned about is having any more of my friends and family getting cancer of some kind. Another concern is losing my retirement income but that is minor compared to good health for me, my friends and my family.
For my school district, 90% of parents whose kids smoke don't know that their golden boy who lives in the 500k+ home smokes weed or his best friend Billy is his dealer they mostly assume that it is the kids from North Katy (lower middle class to middl class part of town) selling them drugs when honestly it's a combo of both.
I have a lot of friends who immigrated from other countries. They mostly point out that the USA is a miserable place to live if you dont have a lot of money. Many go back home.
